Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Welcomes UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with the Rt Hon Sir Keir Starmer, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi today. The British Prime Minister is on a working visit to the UAE, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
During their meeting, Sheikh Mohamed and Sir Keir Starmer discussed avenues for enhancing collaboration between the UAE and the UK, focusing on advancing the shared development aspirations of both nations. Sir Keir extended his heartfelt congratulations to Sheikh Mohamed on the occasion of the UAE’s 53rd National Day (Eid Al Etihad) and conveyed his wishes for continued prosperity and progress for the Emirati people.
The discussions underscored the historic ties between the UAE and the UK, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to further strengthening cooperation in various fields. They emphasized the importance of fostering joint efforts to address regional and global challenges, including peacebuilding and diplomatic initiatives.
