Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Meets South African President Cyril Ramaphosa
Johannesburg, The Gulf Observer: Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, held a meeting with Cyril Ramaphosa, President of the Republic of South Africa, in Johannesburg. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade.
Sheikh Shakhboot conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Ramaphosa. He expressed their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of South Africa.
President Ramaphosa reciprocated the greetings, extending his well wishes to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He conveyed his aspirations for the UAE’s further growth and development.
The discussions between the two leaders focused on enhancing ties across multiple sectors and reaffirmed the commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation to achieve mutual benefits.
In a separate meeting, Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan met with South Africa’s Deputy President, Paul Mashatile. Both sides explored opportunities for collaboration across various fields, aiming to reinforce the strategic partnership between the UAE and South Africa.
The meetings underscore the UAE’s dedication to deepening its relations with South Africa and expanding avenues of cooperation in alignment with shared interests and goals.
