Six Civilians Killed in Israeli Shelling of Central and Southern Gaza
Gaza, The Gulf Observer: Six civilians were killed and several others injured during early morning Israeli shelling in central and southern Gaza, according to reports from the Palestinian WAFA news agency.
Five civilians were found dead after an Israeli artillery strike hit the Bardweel family home in the al-Mawasi area of Rafah, located in the southern part of the Gaza Strip. The victims were reportedly members of the same family.
In a separate incident, one civilian was killed and others injured following an Israeli airstrike on a house belonging to the Aqel family on 20th Street in the Nuseirat refugee camp, situated in central Gaza.
The attacks come amid escalating violence in the region, further worsening the humanitarian crisis faced by civilians in the enclave. The situation remains tense as both sides continue to exchange fire, raising concerns about the safety and security of the population.
