Speakers of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye Meet Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The Speakers of the Parliaments of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye met on Tuesday with Chief Minister of Pakistan’s Punjab province, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, in Lahore to discuss the expansion of bilateral and trilateral cooperation and the strengthening of parliamentary interaction among the three nations.
During the meeting, the sides underscored that the cultural, religious, and spiritual bonds shared by Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye form a strong foundation for their enduring friendship and partnership. It was emphasized that the close political dialogue and positive relations between the heads of state play a crucial role in promoting collaboration across various sectors and in fostering closer ties among their peoples.
The participants also discussed the outcomes of the trilateral meeting of parliamentary speakers held in Islamabad, noting that this cooperation mechanism has become an important platform for dialogue and coordination. The sides agreed that the meetings and reciprocal visits conducted within this framework, along with the joint participation of parliamentarians in international forums and a shared stance on fundamental principles, are instrumental in deepening strategic parliamentary relations among the three countries.
