Sultan Haitham to Preside Over Major National Day Military Events

Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, will preside over two major national ceremonies this week as part of Oman’s celebrations marking its glorious National Day. The events, to be held in Muscat, underscore the Sultanate’s military strength and its commitment to honoring national achievements.

In an expression of royal patronage, His Majesty will oversee two key parades:

The Grand Military Parade: Scheduled for Thursday, November 20, the parade will take place at Al-Fath Square in the Muscat Governorate. The event will showcase the discipline, readiness, and capabilities of Oman’s armed forces.

The Naval Fleet Parade: Continuing the celebrations, His Majesty will also preside over the 2025 Naval Fleet Parade, set to be held on Friday evening in Muscat. The ceremony will highlight the operational excellence of the Royal Navy of Oman and its vital role in safeguarding the nation’s maritime security.

The two events form part of the Sultanate’s wider National Day commemorations, reflecting Oman’s enduring pride, heritage, and progress under the leadership of Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
