Sultan of Oman Holds Friendly Meeting with King Hamad of Bahrain in Salalah

Salalah, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Saturday received His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain at Bait Al Rabat in Salalah, where the two leaders held a cordial and fraternal meeting.

At the outset of the meeting, His Majesty the Sultan renewed his warm welcome to King Hamad and the accompanying delegation, expressing his great delight over the visit and wishing them a pleasant stay in the Dhofar Governorate. His Majesty emphasized the deep-rooted brotherly ties binding the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain, underscoring the shared history, values, and aspirations that continue to strengthen relations between the two nations.

For his part, King Hamad conveyed his sincere thanks and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the gracious welcome and generous hospitality extended to him and his delegation. He highlighted the strong bonds of fraternity and mutual respect that unite the leadership and peoples of both countries.

The meeting reflected the keenness of the two leaders to further enhance bilateral relations in various fields, in line with the aspirations of the Omani and Bahraini peoples for greater cooperation, progress, and prosperity.

The visit of King Hamad to Salalah comes as part of the continued consultations and coordination between Oman and Bahrain, aimed at supporting joint Arab action and strengthening solidarity within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).
