Sultan of Oman Hosts Official Dinner for Belarusian President at Al Alam Palace
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik hosted an official dinner at the Al Alam Palace guesthouse on Sunday, in honor of President Aleksandr Lukashenko of the Republic of Belarus and his accompanying delegation. The dinner was held to mark President Lukashenko’s official visit to the Sultanate of Oman, aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.
Prior to the dinner, His Majesty the Sultan and the Belarusian President exchanged commemorative gifts as symbols of friendship and mutual respect. His Majesty presented President Lukashenko with an Omani dagger, a hallmark of Oman’s rich heritage, while the President gifted His Majesty a traditional Belarusian rifle and a men’s shawl, reflecting Belarus’s cultural traditions.
The dinner was attended by members of the Royal family, ministers, undersecretaries, and advisors, highlighting the significance of the visit in fostering cooperation between the two nations.
The occasion underscores Oman’s commitment to strengthening ties with Belarus through high-level engagements, reinforcing mutual understanding and collaboration.
