Sultan of Oman Inaugurates Medical City Hospital for Military and Security Services in Muscat
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander, formally inaugurated the Medical City Hospital for Military and Security Services in Muscat, marking a significant milestone in Oman’s healthcare infrastructure. The ceremony took place during his visit to the Medical City for Military and Security Services, where he was warmly received by His Highness the Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Medical City, as well as other distinguished officials and board members.
During the inauguration, His Excellency the Engineer and Chairman of the Medical City delivered a speech in honor of His Majesty’s presence. This was followed by a visual presentation showcasing the evolution of Oman’s medical sector, highlighting the contributions of Omani doctors throughout history and the advancements in healthcare that have led to today’s inauguration of this premier medical facility. The new hospital is celebrated as a landmark achievement in Oman’s ongoing renaissance and development journey.
Following his formal blessing, which marked the hospital’s official opening, His Majesty watched a detailed presentation about the Medical City’s facilities, specialized medical departments, and the comprehensive healthcare services it offers. Built to meet the highest technical standards, the Medical City Hospital aligns with Oman Vision 2040, embodying the nation’s commitment to excellence in military and security healthcare.
His Majesty toured various departments, where he received briefings on the hospital’s capabilities and cutting-edge medical services. Designed to serve the military and security sectors, the facility provides integrated healthcare tailored to the unique needs of these services, adding substantial value to Oman’s health sector.
To commemorate the occasion, His Majesty recorded a commemorative message celebrating the official opening. He also greeted key project leaders, including the Assistants to the Chairman, the General Managers of the Medical City Directorates, and the project engineers responsible for bringing the Medical City Hospital to life.
Following the tour and ceremonies, His Majesty departed the Medical City, leaving behind a newly inaugurated institution that stands as a testament to Oman’s commitment to advanced medical care and the welfare of its military and security personnel.
