Amman, The Gulf Observer: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, accompanied by King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, visited the Jordan Museum in Amman today as part of His Majesty the Sultan’s state visit to the Kingdom.
Upon their arrival at the Jordan Museum, the monarchs, escorted by Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, Crown Prince of Jordan, were warmly received by Princess Sumaya bint Al Hussein, Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Jordan Museum.
During the visit, His Majesty the Sultan toured the museum and received a detailed briefing on the exhibits, which date back one and a half million years. The museum’s displays trace the rich historical legacy of Jordan, spanning from the Palaeolithic era to the present day.
