Sultanate of Oman Welcomes Meeting of Palestinian Factions in China
Muscat, The Gulf Observer: The Sultanate of Oman has warmly welcomed the recent meeting of Palestinian factions held in the People’s Republic of China. This significant gathering culminated in the signing of the “Beijing Declaration,” an important step towards unifying Palestinian efforts.
The Oman News Agency (ONA) stated: “The Sultanate of Oman welcomes the meeting of the Palestinian factions in the People’s Republic of China, and its outcome with the signing of the ‘Beijing Declaration,’ stressing the centrality of uniting the Palestinian ranks and empowering them by all political and diplomatic means to push for an end to the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories. It also appreciates establishing an independent Palestinian state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.”
