Symposium Held in Beijing to Discuss Xi Jinping’s Discourses on China’s Financial Sector
Beijing, The Gulf Observer: A symposium focusing on the compilation of excerpts from discourses on China’s financial sector by Xi Jinping, the general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, was convened in Beijing on Friday.
The event was attended by He Lifeng, director of the office of the Central Financial Commission and secretary of the Central Financial Work Commission.
Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC in 2012, Xi Jinping has articulated a series of pivotal discourses on major theoretical and practical issues pertaining to the development of the financial sector. These discourses have provided foundational guidance for financial work during China’s new journey in the new era, as emphasized during the symposium.
The symposium underscored the imperative to thoroughly study and implement the essence and requirements of Xi’s discourses. It called upon all finance departments to intensify their efforts in risk prevention and supervision, propel the sector’s development, and fulfill their financial tasks for the current year.
Representatives from pertinent central authorities, government departments, enterprises, and the Xi Jinping Economic Thought Research Center participated in the symposium, reflecting a broad spectrum of stakeholders committed to advancing China’s financial sector in accordance with Xi’s directives.
