Tajikistan to Host Global Tourism Delegation During Navrouz Celebrations

Dushanbe, The Gulf Observer: Tajikistan is set to welcome a major international delegation of tourism officials, media representatives, and travel influencers during the upcoming Navrouz celebrations, in a strategic move to promote the country’s tourism potential.

According to the Committee for Tourism Development under the Government of Tajikistan, the delegation will include representatives from tourism authorities of Russia and China, executives from leading travel companies, as well as prominent international bloggers and journalists.

The visit is being organized by the Committee with the support of Tajikistan’s diplomatic missions abroad, reflecting a coordinated effort to enhance the country’s global tourism profile.

Officials stated that the initiative aims to promote the international brand of Navrouz, highlight Tajikistan’s rich cultural heritage and traditions, and strengthen cooperation with foreign media outlets and digital content creators.

Among the notable participants is Yuji Beleza, a globally recognized travel and lifestyle content creator with approximately 15 million followers. His content, which often garners up to 100 million views, is expected to significantly boost international visibility for Tajikistan.

The initiative underscores Tajikistan’s broader strategy to position itself as an attractive destination for cultural and experiential tourism, leveraging major traditional celebrations such as Navrouz to engage a global audience.
