Tatarstan delegation arrives in Bukhara

Bukhara, The Gulf Observer: The delegation, consisting of representatives of government and business circles, led by the Aide to the President of one of the major economic regions of the Russian Federation – the Republic of Tatarstan, Gazinur Bakirov, got acquainted with the conditions created in Bukhara region.

Members of the delegation got acquainted with projects implemented in the “Gijduvon” free economic zone, construction, and creative work in the new territory allocated this year for the expansion of the FEZ and the “New Uzbekistan” neighborhood. The guests got acquainted with projects of Parvoz Khumo Ravnaq Trans LLC on organizing the production of yarn and fabric, dyeing fabric, and printing patterns on it. Negotiations were held to establish bilateral cooperation in the future.

At the meeting in the Regional Authority, the Hokim of the region Botir Zaripov expressed confidence that the visit of Tatarstan delegation would help strengthen cooperation between Tatarstan and Uzbekistan.

The parties discussed further development of trade and economic relations between Bukhara region and Tatarstan.

The Director of the Special Economic Zone “Alabuga” of the Republic of Tatarstan Timur Shagivaleev held a presentation on the possibilities of this SEZ. During the talks, agreements were reached on organizing, together with the Republic of Tatarstan, a new free economic zone in Bukhara region, mutual visits to implement several projects in electrical engineering, leather goods, and pharmaceuticals.
