Third Trilateral Meeting of Azerbaijani, Pakistani, and Turkish Parliamentary Speakers Begins in Islamabad

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The 3rd trilateral meeting of the speakers of the parliaments of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye commenced in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, marking another milestone in strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation among the three nations.

The meeting began with the Executive Session, attended by Speaker of Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova, Speaker of Pakistan’s National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, and Speaker of Türkiye’s Grand National Assembly Numan Kurtulmuş.

In their opening remarks, the parliamentary leaders underscored the importance of the deep-rooted fraternal relations among Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye, both at the governmental and parliamentary levels. They expressed confidence that the meeting would serve as a catalyst for advancing the goals and objectives of trilateral parliamentary cooperation.

During the Executive Session, participants held extensive discussions on key agenda topics aimed at enhancing collaboration in political, economic, cultural, and humanitarian spheres. Following the session, the official opening ceremony of the 3rd trilateral meeting took place, featuring speeches by the parliamentary speakers and the active participation of members of parliament from the three countries.

The ongoing deliberations are expected to further strengthen coordination among the legislative bodies of Azerbaijan, Pakistan, and Türkiye, reinforcing their shared commitment to regional stability, mutual development, and partnership.
