Astana, The Gulf Observer: President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, engaged in a telephone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, initiated by the Ukrainian side, as reported by Akorda.

During the conversation, President Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to President Tokayev for the humanitarian assistance extended to the Ukrainian people through Kazakhstan’s public organizations. President Zelenskyy also provided a comprehensive update on the recent peace formula meeting held in Davos, where representatives from over 80 countries participated. He further outlined the preparations underway for the upcoming World Summit in Switzerland.

The two Presidents delved into discussions concerning the development of bilateral humanitarian efforts and trade and economic ties between Kazakhstan and Ukraine. The exchange emphasized the importance of fostering strong and mutually beneficial relations between the two nations.
