Tourist information center opens on Turkmenistan-Uzbekistan border

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: An information center was opened at the border customs post Shavat-Dashoguz on the border of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. The center is designed to inform tourists from Turkmenistan about the tourism potential of Uzbekistan, the Association of Tourist Transport of Uzbekistan reports.

The center provides a wide range of services for tourists, including information on visa procedures, cultural attractions, entertainment and sports events, tourist destinations and program, transport rental, catering, accommodation, medical care, services of tour operators and guides, as well as assistance with registration in the system e-guest.

The center also offers currency exchange, booking for transport tickets and various cultural events.
