Tunisian President Receives Omani Foreign Minister to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Tunis, The Gulf Observer: President Kais Saied of the Republic of Tunisia received Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister of the Sultanate of Oman, on Wednesday at the Presidential Palace in Tunis, as part of the Omani minister’s official visit to Tunisia.
During the meeting, Sayyid Badr conveyed the greetings and best wishes of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Saied, wishing him continued health and happiness, and expressing hopes for further development and prosperity for the Tunisian people.
In return, President Saied asked the Foreign Minister to convey his sincere greetings and well wishes to His Majesty the Sultan and the Omani people, expressing Tunisia’s appreciation for Oman’s support and its commitment to fostering regional and international peace and stability.
The meeting highlighted the depth of bilateral relations between the two countries and emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation across various sectors to advance shared interests.
President Saied commended Oman’s balanced foreign policy under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, particularly its constructive role in promoting dialogue, regional stability, and international cooperation.
For his part, Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr expressed the Sultanate’s pride in the strong fraternal bonds with Tunisia and reaffirmed Oman’s commitment to deepening bilateral ties and continuing coordination on regional and international issues.
He also praised President Saied’s leadership and his forward-looking vision for Tunisia’s development and for strengthening joint Arab action in pursuit of economic and social progress.
The meeting underscored the shared commitment of Oman and Tunisia to reinforcing collaboration and mutual understanding in support of peace, development, and prosperity in the Arab world and beyond.
