Turkish and Ukrainian Ministers Discuss Reconstruction at Istanbul Forum
Istanbul, The Gulf Observer: In an event dedicated to assisting Ukraine in its reconstruction efforts, Turkish Trade Minister Omer Bolat, Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu, and Ukraine’s Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov met in Istanbul for the Forum on the Reconstruction of Ukraine. The ministers discussed the vital role Türkiye can play in Ukraine’s reconstruction process, leveraging the experience gained from successful projects by Turkish contractors worldwide. The collaboration aims to focus on rebuilding Ukraine’s damaged infrastructure and superstructure. The meeting also addressed the expansion of mutual trade volume and the enhancement of economic relations between the two nations.
Bolat emphasized that the insights gained from Turkish contractors’ achievements globally will be a cornerstone for collaboration, fostering economic and strategic relations. Uraloglu affirmed Türkiye’s ongoing support for Ukraine, emphasizing the deep-rooted historical friendship ties between the two nations. The productive meeting is expected to contribute to the strengthening of economic and strategic ties.
