Turkish Security Forces Disrupt Mossad-Linked Operation in Joint Operation
Istanbul, The Gulf Observer: In a significant and strategic move, Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the General Directorate of Security have successfully collaborated on a joint operation targeting individuals associated with Mossad, the Israeli intelligence agency.
The coordinated efforts of Türkiye’s security forces led to a joint operation conducted in Istanbul and Izmir, resulting in the apprehension of seven individuals suspected of indirectly providing information to Mossad. The security sources reported this development on Friday.
During the meticulously planned and executed operations, law enforcement agencies arrested seven out of the nine individuals who were subjects of warrants. Two of the suspects were taken into custody prior to the simultaneous operations.
The investigation conducted by Turkish authorities unveiled Mossad’s use of private detectives to track targets within Türkiye. The Israeli intelligence service leveraged the services of these private investigators for a range of activities, including the gathering of biographical information, surveillance, investigation, photo/video documentation, live tracking, and the installation of tracking devices.
