Türkiye Confirms Recovery of All Victims from Military Plane Crash on Azerbaijan-Georgia Border

Ankara, The Gulf Observer: Türkiye announced on Thursday that the body of the 20th soldier who lost his life in the recent military cargo plane crash along the Azerbaijan-Georgia border has been recovered, confirming that all victims of the tragic incident have now been accounted for.

“As a result of the search efforts in the wreckage of our military cargo plane that crashed on the Azerbaijan-Georgia border, the sacred body of our 20th martyr has been reached,” the Turkish National Defense Ministry said in an official statement.

The C-130 military cargo aircraft, which was en route from Azerbaijan, crashed in Georgia on Tuesday, claiming the lives of all 20 personnel on board, including members of the flight crew.

The ministry expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the soldiers and extended condolences to their families and the Turkish Armed Forces.
