Lviv, The Gulf Observer: Arriving in Lviv (Ukraine) from Poland, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was welcomed by his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky at the entrance of Potocki Palace, a 19th-century mansion where talks aimed primarily at finding a solution to the conflict in Ukraine were held.

It was obvious that the two leaders get on through the firm handshake and friendly glances. Mr. Zelensky warmly thanked Mr. Erdogan for his visit.

After a 45-minute meeting, the two presidents were joined by United Nations (UN) Secretary General Antonio Guterres.

Together they discussed the need to step up Ukrainian grain exports via the Black Sea, the fate of prisoners of war and, above all, the alarming situation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, currently occupied by the Russian army and being used by the Kremlin as part of its offensive.
