Turkmen actors will perform at international theater festival “Biken”

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The team of the Turkmen National Drama Theater named after Alp Arslan will take part in the International Taldykurgan Theater Festival “Biken”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the People’s Artist of Kazakhstan Biken Rimova. This was reported by the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

Turkmen actors will show their colleagues the play “Makhtumkuli Fragi”. The main role in the performance will be performed by Honored Artist of Turkmenistan Dovlet Khanmamedov.

The Biken festival will be held from September 29 to October 4 in the city of Taldykurgan, at the Biken Rimovoy Drama Theater.

The theater festival is held with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the akimat of the Zhetysu region and the international organization TURKSOY.
