Turkmen Ambassador Presents Credentials to UAE President in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The newly appointed Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the United Arab Emirates, Bayram Bayramov, formally presented his credentials to UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahayan at a ceremony held at Qasr Al Watan Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The official proceedings began on November 27 with the performance of the national anthems of both nations and an inspection of the guard of honour. The concluding segment of the ceremony, including the presentation of credentials, took place on December 1.

The event was attended by UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Office Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahayan, as well as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahayan.

Ambassador Bayramov conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahayan congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in advancing bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the participation of a UAE delegation in the upcoming International Forum dedicated to the International Year of Peace and Trust, the International Day of Neutrality, and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s permanent Neutrality. Ambassador Bayramov also delivered an official invitation for the UAE President to undertake a visit to Turkmenistan.

Expressing gratitude to Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahayan for his continued support of Turkmen–Emirati cooperation, Ambassador Bayramov reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening bilateral ties and promoting constructive interstate relations and friendship between the two nations.
