Turkmen Embassy in France Hosts Presentation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s Debut Book

Paris, The Gulf Observer: On February 17, the Embassy of Turkmenistan in France organized a notable event in Paris, unveiling the first book authored by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, titled “Youth is the Support of the Motherland,” as reported in a press release from the Turkmen diplomatic mission.
The presentation, attended by students from the French youth studying at leading higher educational institutions, including the Higher School of Management (EMLV), the Higher School of Engineers (ESILV), the Higher School of Digitalization (IIM), the National School of Engineers of Poitiers (ENSI Poitiers), the University of the Sorbonne, and more, garnered great interest.
French students expressed admiration for the state’s dedication to the youth in Turkmenistan, highlighting the essential role young Turkmen citizens play in the continued development of the nation. The event served as a platform to discuss the significant responsibilities and tasks entrusted to the youth for the country’s future progress.
A crucial aspect of the meeting was the mention of the upcoming 300th anniversary of the birth of the renowned Turkmen poet and philosopher, Magtymguly Fragi. It was underscored that 2024 has been designated as the Year of “The Fount of the Mind of Magtymguly Fragi” in Turkmenistan, emphasizing the nation’s commitment to celebrating its cultural heritage.
In addition to the literary discussions, participants had the opportunity to delve into the rich traditions of Turkmen cuisine, indulging in the flavors of national dishes.
The Embassy’s initiative not only showcased the literary contributions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov but also fostered cultural exchange and deepened understanding between Turkmenistan and France.
