Turkmen Embassy Showcases National Cuisine at ‘Taste of the World’ Charity Festival in Islamabad

Islamabad, The Gulf Observer: The Embassy of Turkmenistan in Pakistan actively participated in the “Taste of the World” charity festival held on May 25 at the Serena Hotel in Islamabad, the embassy announced.

Organized by the Islamabad Foreign Women’s Association (IFWA) with the support of various diplomatic missions and the Serena Hotel administration, the event brought together embassies from across the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia. The festival served as a platform to celebrate global cultures through national cuisines while supporting charitable causes.

The Turkmen delegation made a notable contribution by presenting an array of traditional Turkmen dishes, drawing widespread attention for their authenticity, flavor, and cultural richness. The Embassy’s pavilion became a focal point of interest for visitors eager to explore the culinary heritage of Turkmenistan.

Beyond the gastronomic presentation, the Embassy of Turkmenistan utilized the opportunity to highlight the country’s broader cultural identity, enhancing mutual understanding and people-to-people engagement with other nations represented at the festival.

The organizers extended their gratitude to the participating embassies for their enthusiastic support of the charitable initiative. IFWA emphasized that the festival exemplified how cultural exchange and culinary traditions can foster goodwill and contribute to meaningful social causes.
