Turkmen Foreign Minister Holds Telephone Talks with U.S. Secretary of State on Expanding Bilateral Cooperation

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: On June 24, 2025, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov held a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The two officials engaged in a substantive exchange of views on a broad spectrum of bilateral and international issues.

The conversation focused on key areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the United States, including political and diplomatic relations, trade and economic engagement, and cultural and humanitarian collaboration. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual interest in further developing the multifaceted partnership between the two countries.
