Turkmen President meets with Chinese First Vice Premier
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a meeting on Wednesday with Ding Xuexiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the First Vice Premier of the State Council of China. The First Vice Premier of China arrived in Ashgabat to attend the sixth meeting of the Turkmen-Chinese Intergovernmental Cooperation Committee.
During the meeting, there was a constructive exchange of views on the agenda of the sixth meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee. In this context, the sides expressed their confidence that the meeting outcomes would contribute to further advancing the cordial Turkmen-Chinese relations to new frontiers, the official Turkmen media reports.
During the discussions, particular emphasis was placed on the strategic and long-term nature of the bilateral partnership, highlighting its effective development at the highest levels of state, government and ministerial cooperation.
Serdar Berdimuhamedov said he warmly recalls meeting with President Xi Jinping during his visits to China this year.
Following the meeting’s conclusion, Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Ding Xuexiang, the First Vice Premier of China, expressed their confidence in the continued successful and comprehensive development of interstate relations, focusing on promoting the common well-being of both nations.
In addition, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs Rashid Meredov, met with Ding Xuexiang, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, the First Vice Premier of China.
During the meeting, the parties discussed establishing mutually beneficial relations between interested companies and business circles of the two countries, expanding and deepening industrial cooperation.
