Turkmen President stresses to develop trade between Central Asia, GCC

Jeddah, The Gulf Observer: Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that current global threats and challenges, as well as international political events around the world, including the regions close to Central Asian and Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, require our countries to unite efforts and adopt solutions.

In a speech during the GCC-Central Asia Summit Wednesday in Jeddah, the president said the development of trade and economic cooperation, in addition to political issues among their countries are very important.

He added that the development of transport, energy, investment and trade, as well as establishing a council of GCC-Central Asia foreign ministers on a permanent basis, are among the priorities.
