Turkmenistan Inaugurates New Facilities Ahead of Day of Defenders of the Homeland
Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: In the lead-up to the Day of Defenders of the Homeland, Turkmenistan marked the opening of new facilities across several military and law enforcement institutions, the Watan Habarlary news program reported on Tuesday.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs inaugurated new buildings for vehicle condition monitoring and transport groups in the velayats of Ahal, Dashoguz, Lebap, and Mary. These include new facilities at the police departments of Serakh District (Ahal velayat), Gerogly District (Dashoguz velayat), Charjew and Koytendag districts (Lebap velayat), and Sakarchage District (Mary velayat).
The centers are equipped with modern systems for vehicle technical inspections, including control systems, tachographs, and environmentally compliant lighting. They also feature advanced equipment to test the braking systems of passenger and cargo vehicles, meeting international standards. The Ministry of Internal Affairs oversaw the construction work.
Additionally, a new residential building for military personnel was inaugurated adjacent to the administrative building of the military service in Koneurgench District (Dashoguz velayat). This facility was constructed by the reinforced concrete products enterprise in Dashoguz city under the Ministry of Industry and Construction at the request of the Ministry of National Security.
In Lebap velayat, the private company Rysgally Zähmet completed renovations of the State Migration Service building in the Kerki District, enhancing operational efficiency with modern technologies and advanced computer systems.
During the ceremonies, military personnel and civilians expressed their gratitude to the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan and the National Leader of the Turkmen people. Gifts were presented to the builders who excelled in the construction projects on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.
These developments highlight Turkmenistan’s commitment to strengthening its national defense infrastructure and supporting its armed forces and law enforcement agencies.
