Turkmenistan Launches Inaugural “Turkmentextile Expo — 2025” in Ashgabat

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: The international trade fair “Turkmentextile Expo — 2025” officially opened on Wednesday at the Exhibition Center of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ashgabat, marking the first time the event is being held in Turkmenistan.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov extended warm congratulations on the occasion, underscoring the fair’s significance in promoting the growth and global integration of the country’s textile industry.

“The presence of silk fabrics, clothing, and other textile products intended not only for the domestic market but also for export in the fair’s exhibitions will attract the attention of foreign partners participating in this large-scale event and clearly demonstrate Turkmenistan’s openness to foreign investment in this sector,” President Berdimuhamedov stated in his message.

The trade fair showcases a wide range of products and services across the textile value chain, including natural fiber processing, garment and footwear manufacturing, home textiles, accessories, chemical products, dyes, and decorative items. Participants also present the latest innovations and technologies shaping the global textile industry.

“Turkmentextile Expo — 2025” aims to serve as a strategic platform for strengthening international cooperation and enhancing Turkmenistan’s export potential in the textile sector. The event brings together domestic producers and foreign companies, fostering partnerships and investment opportunities.

The fair will continue through June 13, attracting business representatives, investors, and industry experts from around the world.
