Turkmenistan Marks Fifth Anniversary of Charitable Foundation for Children

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has announced that March 29 marks the fifth anniversary of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship, highlighting its contributions to humanitarian efforts and international cooperation.

Chairing a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, the president noted that since its establishment, the foundation has maintained close collaboration with international organizations in supporting vulnerable children.

In recognition of efforts to strengthen international cooperation in this field, President Berdimuhamedov signed a decree awarding representatives of several organizations the prestigious Arkadag medal.

On the occasion, the president extended congratulations to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty and National Leader of the Turkmen people, as well as to the citizens of Turkmenistan.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Foreign Minister Rashid Meredov also conveyed congratulations to the National Leader and the president on behalf of the meeting participants.

The Cabinet meeting further reviewed a range of state matters, with relevant decisions adopted following deliberations.
