Turkmenistan welcomes new Boeing 777 passenger aircraft

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: In compliance with the decree of the Turkmen President, one of the two new Boeing-777-300ER passenger aircraft purchased from the American company Boeing landed at Ashgabat International Airport.

The second passenger plane is expected to be delivered to Turkmenistan soon, the Turkmenistan Airlines news agency reported on Monday.

The recently acquired modern passenger plane, identified as the Boeing 777-300ER with the registration code EZ-A781, features a seating capacity of 368 passengers and is equipped with two GE90-115BL2 engines.

The aircraft has an impressive flight range of 11,390 kilometres and can transport a maximum cargo load of up to 40,000 kilograms.

According to the news report, commissioning these modern aircraft will create conditions to fulfil the population’s needs in international air travel and expand the country’s air travel geography.
