The meeting, to be chaired by Wang Yi, a member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of China and Minister of Foreign Affairs, will bring together the foreign ministers of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.

Key discussions will focus on enhancing regional cooperation and strengthening strategic partnerships between China and the Central Asian nations. The dialogue aims to address pressing regional issues and explore opportunities to deepen multifaceted collaboration.

The upcoming meeting builds on the outcomes of the fourth China-Central Asia Foreign Ministers’ meeting, held on April 27 in Xi’an under the chairmanship of then-Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang. It underscores a continued commitment to fostering strong ties and advancing shared development goals between the parties.
