Turkmenistan’s President and National Leader Host Iftar at Halk Hakydasy Memorial Complex

Ashgabat, The Gulf Observer: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, hosted a special iftar gathering on Saturday at the Halk Hakydasy Memorial Complex, according to the Watan Habarlary news program.
The iftar was attended by the Mufti of Turkmenistan, imams from all provinces, as well as religious representatives from the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, along with a number of citizens.
During the gathering, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the spiritual importance of organizing an iftar during the holy month of Oraza, especially on the eve of the sacred Night of Power (Laylat al-Qadr). He noted that such gatherings are virtuous occasions during which verses from the Holy Quran are recited and prayers are offered to Almighty God.
The Mufti of Turkmenistan recited Quranic verses and offered a special prayer, expressing hope that the iftars organized by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov would be accepted by God.
Following the prayers, various traditional dishes were served to the participants of the iftar gathering.
The event reflected Turkmenistan’s respect for Islamic traditions and its commitment to promoting spiritual values and unity during the holy month of Ramadan.
