Turkmenistan’s President Explores Azerbaijani Pavilion at Berzengi Sanatorium Event

Baku, The Gulf Observer: The traditional “World Cuisine” competition was held at the Berzengi Sanatorium in Turkmenistan as part of a tree-planting campaign, bringing together diplomatic representatives from various countries and international organizations. The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and aimed at fostering cultural exchange and international cooperation.

Azerbaijan was represented at the competition by its Embassy in Turkmenistan, which showcased the country’s rich cultural heritage. The Azerbaijani pavilion featured traditional cuisine, ancient customs, decorative and applied arts, and key attributes of the Novruz holiday, offering guests an immersive experience of the nation’s traditions.

Visitors displayed keen interest in Azerbaijani culture, with attendees enjoying authentic national dishes. Among the distinguished guests, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov toured the Azerbaijani pavilion, accompanied by other high-ranking officials.

In recognition of its active participation, the Azerbaijani Embassy was presented with a certificate of appreciation. Embassy representatives underscored the shared values of Novruz, highlighting the holiday as a symbol of peace, friendship, and unity between nations.

The ‘World Cuisine’ competition served as a platform for strengthening cultural diplomacy and fostering closer ties among participating countries, reinforcing Azerbaijan’s commitment to promoting its national heritage on the international stage.
