Turnout at referendum in Uzbekistan at 11:00 AM was more than 35%

Tashkent, The Gulf Observer: The turnout at the referendum on the Constitution of Uzbekistan in the new version as of 11:00 was 35.13%.

About 6,820,838 people out of 19.4 million citizens took part in the voting.

Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Bakhrom Kuchkarov noted the high activity of voters and said that no serious violations had been registered so far.

It should be reminded that there are 10,758 referendum polling stations across the country. To date, most of the 55 polling stations have been opened in diplomatic and other representations of Uzbekistan abroad.
