Twenty-Four Families Resettled in Newly Reconstructed Khidirli Village of Aghdam District

Aghdam, The Gulf Observer: A total of 24 families, comprising 124 individuals, have been resettled in the newly rebuilt Khidirli village of Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district, marking another milestone in the country’s ongoing efforts to restore and repopulate liberated territories.

During an official ceremony, the families received the keys to their new homes, symbolizing a fresh beginning after years of displacement.

The event was attended by officials from the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Khojavend districts, along with representatives of the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.

The resettlement initiative forms part of the broader state-led Great Return Program, which aims to restore infrastructure, rebuild housing, and ensure the sustainable reintegration of displaced citizens into their native lands.

With each new phase of resettlement, Aghdam continues to transform into a vibrant and modern district, reflecting Azerbaijan’s commitment to revitalizing its liberated territories and ensuring dignified living conditions for returning families.
