UAE and Austria Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

Vienna, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Alexander Schallenberg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, to discuss bilateral relations and the comprehensive strategic partnership between the United Arab Emirates and Austria.

The meeting took place during Sheikh Abdullah’s working visit to the Republic of Austria. The two ministers explored opportunities to enhance cooperation in various sectors, including economic, trade, investment, education, culture, energy, and climate action. They also discussed bilateral collaboration within international organizations and reviewed the progress of their relations as both countries celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic ties in 1974.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed emphasized the depth of the UAE’s relations with Austria, highlighting the commitment of both nations to leverage ambitious opportunities to expand joint cooperation, serving common interests and benefiting their peoples.

The meeting was attended by Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs, and Hamad Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador to Austria.
