UAE and Central African Republic Leaders Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Excellency Faustin-Archange Touadéra, President of the Central African Republic, met to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand cooperation in various sectors, with a focus on economic, trade, and investment opportunities, as well as renewable energy, infrastructure, and other key areas of development that serve the shared interests of both nations.
The meeting, held at Qasr Al Shati in Abu Dhabi, marked a working visit by President Touadéra to the UAE. During their discussions, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed President Touadéra and expressed his gratitude for his visit. President Touadéra extended his congratulations to His Highness on the occasion of Ramadan and conveyed his best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of the UAE and its people.
His Highness reaffirmed the UAE’s commitment to fostering development partnerships with African nations, highlighting the importance of collaboration for a more prosperous and sustainable future. Both leaders emphasized their shared vision to advance cooperation between the UAE and the Central African Republic, focusing on mutually beneficial initiatives aimed at driving sustainable economic growth and fulfilling the aspirations of both countries.
The meeting was attended by several key officials, including H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Ali Mohammed Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Sarah bint Yousef Al Amiri, Minister of Education; Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State; Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade; and Rashid Saeed Al Shamsi, the UAE’s Non-Resident Ambassador to the Central African Republic.
