UAE and Indonesia Extend Lifesaving Medical Aid to Injured Palestinians in Gaza

Gaza, The Gulf Observer: The Indonesian medical team, participating in Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, continues to deliver vital medical services to injured Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Working in close collaboration with their counterparts from the Emirati medical team, the Indonesian doctors are providing top-tier healthcare services, adhering to international standards.
Since their arrival at the Emirati Field Hospital in Gaza and the Emirati Floating Hospital, the Indonesian medical staff has treated over 250 patients and performed approximately 180 surgeries. Their efforts are part of a larger humanitarian mission aimed at supporting the wounded in Gaza during the ongoing crisis.
The participation of the Indonesian medical team underscores the strong relationship between Indonesia and the UAE, demonstrating both nations’ commitment to enhancing their humanitarian contributions to the Palestinian people.
Medical teams aboard the Emirati Floating Hospital have been providing critical care to complex cases, further highlighting the success of this innovative medical facility. To date, the floating hospital has treated more than 49,000 cases and performed over 3,000 surgeries, including the fitting of prosthetic limbs and other life-changing medical interventions.
Within the framework of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the Prosthetics Centre has been instrumental in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to those who lost limbs during the conflict. Thus far, 63 prosthetic limbs have been fitted, and injured individuals have received advanced orthopaedic and rehabilitation care with state-of-the-art medical devices.
These ongoing efforts represent a significant humanitarian contribution from both Indonesia and the UAE, aiming to restore hope and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people during these challenging times.
