Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, received His Excellency Abbas Araghchi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, for a diplomatic meeting held today in Abu Dhabi.

The two leaders held in-depth discussions on strengthening bilateral relations between the United Arab Emirates and Iran, reaffirming their commitment to advancing cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

The meeting also addressed current regional and international developments, with both sides exchanging perspectives on pressing geopolitical issues.

A key point of discussion was the ongoing dialogue between the United States and Iran, with both ministers emphasising the significance of such talks in promoting regional security and stability, and contributing to broader efforts in safeguarding international peace.

The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, and Lana Zaki Nusseibeh, Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs.

This high-level engagement underscores the UAE’s ongoing diplomatic efforts to maintain regional dialogue and constructive engagement with key partners across the region.
