UAE and Kenya Strengthen Bilateral Ties in Fourth Joint Committee Session
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: The fourth session of the Joint Committee between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Republic of Kenya was held in Abu Dhabi, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations. The meeting, co-chaired by Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of State, and Musalia Mudavadi, Kenya’s Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, focused on enhancing cooperation across multiple sectors.
The session brought together senior officials from both nations, reflecting the high-level commitment to deepening UAE-Kenya relations. The discussions covered a wide range of areas, including trade, investment, tourism, aviation, renewable energy, education, youth, agriculture, transport and ports, labor, and defense.
Both sides underscored the strong bilateral ties between the UAE and Kenya, affirming their dedication to building robust partnerships that serve the mutual interests of their nations and peoples. Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan highlighted the importance of the joint committee in fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors of both countries, calling for sustained efforts to enhance UAE-Kenya relations.
Musalia Mudavadi, on behalf of Kenya, reiterated his country’s commitment to strengthening its distinguished relations with the UAE, emphasizing the value of ongoing cooperation.
The session concluded with the signing of the minutes of the fourth session of the UAE-Kenya Joint Committee, symbolizing the continued progress in their bilateral relations. In addition, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on the sidelines of the meeting, focusing on governance and expertise exchange in the government sector, further solidifying the partnership between the two nations.
