UAE and Mauritania Discuss Expanding Bilateral Cooperation in Nouakchott Talks

Nouakchott, The Gulf Observer: Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates, met with Mohamed Ould Cheikh Ghazouani, President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, in Nouakchott to discuss the strong bilateral relations between the two countries and explore avenues for enhanced cooperation.
During the meeting, Sheikh Shakhboot conveyed the greetings of Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Ghazouani, along with their wishes for continued progress and prosperity for the government and people of Mauritania.
President Ghazouani reciprocated by extending his greetings to the UAE leadership and expressing his wishes for further development and advancement for the leadership, government, and people of the United Arab Emirates.
The Mauritanian president welcomed the visit of Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan, and both sides discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral ties. They reviewed joint efforts to expand cooperation across various sectors in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both nations and their peoples.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional developments and emphasized the importance of promoting stability and addressing pressing challenges to foster prosperity and sustainable growth across the region.
