UAE and Papua New Guinea Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Cooperation During Ministerial Meeting in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of State, received Richard Maru, Minister of International Trade and Investment of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, during his official visit to the United Arab Emirates.
The meeting, held in Abu Dhabi, focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring opportunities for cooperation in trade, tourism, and investment, as well as other sectors of mutual interest.
Both parties emphasized the importance of deepening people-to-people connections and promoting cultural exchange to foster mutual understanding and stronger ties between the two nations.
Minister Maru expressed his appreciation for the growing partnership between Papua New Guinea and the UAE, and affirmed his country’s commitment to expanding cooperation aimed at achieving shared developmental goals.
The discussions also highlighted the shared commitment of both countries to advancing political, economic, and public diplomacy in pursuit of regional and global prosperity.
Minister Al Kaabi was accompanied by Omar Shehadeh, Envoy of the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Caribbean and Pacific States, underscoring the UAE’s ongoing efforts to engage strategically with nations in the Pacific region.
