UAE and Russia Discuss Financial Collaboration and BRICS Partnership During Key Meeting
Dubai, The Gulf Observer: Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, the UAE Minister of State for Financial Affairs, met with Maxim Oreshkin, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, during an official visit to the UAE. Oreshkin led a delegation that included key representatives from the Russian Presidential Executive Office, the Ministry of Finance, and the Central Bank of Russia.
The meeting focused on enhancing financial cooperation between the UAE and Russia, with an emphasis on strengthening collaboration under the BRICS framework and the New Development Bank. The discussions covered various aspects of financial partnerships and explored opportunities for further integration between the two countries’ financial sectors.
Minister Al Hussaini emphasized the UAE’s ongoing commitment to deepening financial partnerships with international counterparts, fostering sustainable economic growth, and facilitating the exchange of expertise in the financial sectors.
“We look forward to expanding cooperation with Russia, and sharing technical expertise to enhance financial system efficiency while developing joint initiatives that drive innovation and sustainability,” Al Hussaini remarked following the talks.
