UAE Draws 1-1 with Qatar in the Arabian Gulf Football Cup Group Stage
Kuwait City, The Gulf Observer: The UAE national football team played to a 1-1 draw against Qatar this evening in the group stage of the Arabian Gulf Football Cup, “Khaleeji Zain 26,” at Jaber Al-Mubarak Stadium in Kuwait City.
Qatar took the lead in the 17th minute with a penalty scored by Akram Afif. However, the UAE responded in the second half, with Yahya Al-Ghassani delivering a brilliant solo effort to equalise in the 46th minute, showcasing his exceptional skill.
Looking ahead, the UAE will face Kuwait in their second match on Tuesday, while Qatar will play against Oman.
