UAE Foreign Minister Holds Calls with Global Counterparts on Regional Security Developments

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a series of telephone calls with foreign ministers and senior international officials to discuss the latest regional developments and the repercussions of recent missile attacks targeting the UAE and several countries in the region.
During the discussions, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed engaged with Glauk Konjufca, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Kosovo; Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait; Marco Rubio, Secretary of State of the United States; and Khaled El-Enany, Director-General of UNESCO.
The parties strongly condemned the attacks, describing them as violations of international law, and expressed their categorical rejection of such actions. They reaffirmed the right of affected countries to take all necessary measures to safeguard their sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity, as well as to ensure the safety of their citizens, residents, and visitors.
Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed his appreciation for the solidarity shown by international partners, affirming that the situation within the UAE remains stable and that all residents and visitors are safe.
The calls also addressed the broader implications of the attacks on regional and global security, highlighting potential risks to economic stability and energy security worldwide.
Participants emphasized the importance of coordinated international efforts to contain tensions and prevent further escalation. They underscored the need to prioritize political solutions, diplomatic engagement, and constructive dialogue to resolve ongoing crises and promote lasting peace and stability in the region.
