UAE, Japan Discuss Expanding Energy and Infrastructure Cooperation at World Future Energy Summit

Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, met with Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ryosei Akazawa, to discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation on the sidelines of the World Future Energy Summit being held in Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed prospects for further developing existing partnerships in the energy and infrastructure sectors and explored new opportunities to expand areas of joint cooperation. The discussions focused on advancing initiatives that serve mutual interests and support the sustainable development goals of both countries.
Both ministers underscored the importance of building on the strong strategic relations between the United Arab Emirates and Japan. They also emphasized the need to deepen cooperation in a manner that supports innovation and keeps pace with global transformations in the energy sector.
The meeting reflected the shared commitment of the UAE and Japan to strengthening collaboration in key sectors and advancing sustainable and forward-looking energy solutions.
