UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs Commemorates UAE Flag Day with Nationwide Celebrations
Abu Dhabi, The Gulf Observer: Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) celebrated UAE Flag Day, a national occasion held annually on November 3rd to honor the UAE flag as a symbol of unity, pride, and national identity. The event was in line with the directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who called for the UAE flag to be raised across federal and government buildings, underscoring the unity and cohesion among the nation’s leadership and people.
Khalifa Shaheen Al Marar, Minister of State, led the ceremony by hoisting the UAE flag on the main mast at the Ministry’s headquarters in Abu Dhabi. Distinguished attendees included Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Sheikh Shakhboot Nahyan Al Nahyan, Khalid Abdullah Belhoul, and other high-ranking officials from MoFA, accompanied by a gathering of ministry employees.
The commemoration of UAE Flag Day embodies the nation’s spirit of loyalty, unity, and commitment to Emirati values, as well as a renewed dedication to the UAE’s journey toward continuous progress. As the flag was raised in a pride-filled atmosphere, officials and employees alike reaffirmed their dedication to serve and honor their homeland.
UAE diplomatic missions worldwide also joined in the celebrations. Embassies, consulates, and other diplomatic posts raised the UAE flag in ceremonies attended by members of the UAE’s diplomatic and consular corps, symbolizing the nation’s values of unity and pride on a global stage.
