Azerbaijan Railways Initiates Beautification Campaign Ahead of COP29

Baku, The Gulf Observer: “Azerbaijan Railways” CJSC (ADY) launched a comprehensive beautification initiative on November 2 at the Baku railway sidings in preparation for the upcoming COP29 conference, as reported by News Hub Consultants.

The initiative saw active participation from employees across various structural divisions and subsidiary organizations of ADY, who gathered at key stations including Baku, Narimanov, Keshla, Koroglu, and Bilajari. Equipped with essential sanitary tools, the participants engaged in a range of activities aimed at enhancing the environment, including cleaning and beautifying the areas, maintaining green spaces, softening the bases of trees, and removing household waste that could pose risks to traffic safety.

The primary objective of this event was to foster a positive attitude towards environmental protection, increase awareness of ecological issues, and underscore the critical importance of preserving nature. This initiative reflects Azerbaijan Railways’ commitment to promoting sustainability and environmental stewardship as part of its broader efforts to contribute to global climate action ahead of COP29.
